Psalms 76:1-12God the Victor

Ps.76.1-12
1For the choirmaster. With instrumental music. A psalm of Asaph. A song. 2God is known in Judah; his name is great in Israel. 3His tent is in Salem, and his dwelling place in Zion. 4There he broke the flaming arrows of the bow, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah. 5You are radiant, more majestic than the mountains of prey . 6The stouthearted were plundered; they sank into their sleep. None of the warriors could lift their hands . 7At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both chariot and horse fell fast asleep. 8You, you are to be feared ! Who can stand before you when you are angry? 9From heaven you pronounced judgment; the earth feared and was still, 10when God arose to establish judgment, to save all the humble of the earth. Selah. 11Surely the wrath of man will praise you; with the remnant of wrath you will gird yourself. 12Make vows to the LORD your God and fulfill them; let all who are around him bring gifts to him who is to be feared.
