1A Song of Ascents . Of David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor are my eyes haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters, or with things too wonderful for me. 2Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul ; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. 3O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, from this time forth and forevermore.
