Psalms 125:1-5 — The Lord Surrounds His People
Ps.125.1-5
1A song of ascents. Those who trust in Yahweh are like Mount Zion: it will not be shaken; it remains forever. 2As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from now and forever. 3For the scepter of wickedness will not rest upon the allotment of the righteous, so that the righteous may not stretch out their hands to injustice. 4Do good, O Yahweh, to the good, and to the upright in their hearts. 5But those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead away with the workers of evil. Peace be upon Israel.
