Psalms 30:1-12Thanksgiving for Healing

Ps.30.1-12
1A psalm . A song for the dedication of the house . Of David. 2I will exalt you, O LORD, for you have drawn me up, and you have not let my enemies rejoice over me. 3O LORD my God, I cried to you for help, and you healed me. 4O LORD, you have brought my soul up from Sheol; you have kept me alive, sparing me from going down to the pit. 5Sing praises to the LORD, O you his faithful ones, and give thanks to his holy name. 6For his anger is but for a moment, his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may lodge for the evening, but in the morning comes a shout of joy. 7As for me, I said in my security, “I shall never be shaken, for all eternity.” 8O LORD, by your favor you made my mountain stand strong; you hid your face , and I was terrified. 9To you, O LORD, I called, and to the Lord I pleaded for mercy: 10“What profit is there in my blood, in my going down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it declare your faithfulness?” 11“Hear, O LORD, and be gracious to me! O LORD, be my helper!” 12You have turned my mourning into a dance for me; you have loosened my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.
