Ps.62.1-12
1For the choirmaster. According to Jeduthun . A psalm of David. 2Only for God does my soul wait in silence; from Him comes my salvation. 3Only He is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I will not be greatly shaken. 4How long will you all assault a man? Will all of you batter him, like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence ? 5They only plan to thrust him down from his high position; they delight in lies. With their mouth they bless, but inwardly they curse. Selah. 6Only for God wait in silence, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him. 7Only He is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I will not be shaken. 8Upon God rests my salvation and my glory; my strong rock, my refuge, is in God. 9Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. 10Only a breath are men of low estate, and men of high estate are a lie; in the balances they go up ; together they are lighter than a breath. 11Do not trust in extortion, and do not put vain hope in robbery; if riches increase, do not set your heart upon them. 12God has spoken once; twice I have heard this: that power belongs to God,
