Psalms 53:1-6 — The Fool Says There Is No God
Ps.53.1-6
1For the choirmaster. According to Mahalath. A Maskil of David. 2The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt; they commit abominable injustice; there is no one who does good. 3God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see whether there is anyone with insight, anyone who seeks God. 4All of them have turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. 5Do the workers of evil not know—those who eat up my people as they eat bread and do not call on God? 6There they trembled with dread where there was nothing to dread, for God scattered the bones of the one encamping against you; you put them to shame, for God rejected them.
