Psalms 21:1-13Thanksgiving for Victory

Ps.21.1-13
1For the choirmaster. A psalm of David. 2Yahweh, in your strength the king rejoices, and in your salvation how greatly he exults. 3You have given him the desire of his heart, and you have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah. 4For you meet him with blessings of good; you set on his head a crown of fine gold. 5He asked life from you; you gave it to him—length of days forever and ever. 6Great is his glory in your salvation; splendor and majesty you place upon him. 7For you set blessings on him forever ; you gladden him with joy in your presence. 8For the king trusts in Yahweh, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be shaken. 9Your hand will find all your enemies; your right hand will find those who hate you. 10You will make them like a fiery furnace at the time of your appearing; Yahweh in his anger will swallow them up, and fire will consume them. 11You will destroy their offspring from the earth, and their descendants from among the children of man. 12For they intended evil against you; they devised a scheme they could not carry out. 13For you will make them turn their shoulder; with your bowstrings you make ready against their faces.
