Psalms 65:1-13 — Praise for God's Provision
Ps.65.1-13
1For the choirmaster. A psalm of David. A song. 2To you silence is praise , O God, in Zion; and to you a vow will be paid. 3O hearer of prayer, to you all flesh will come. 4Words of iniquities were too strong for me; our transgressions—you yourself will atone for them. 5Blessed is the one you choose and bring near to dwell in your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple. 6By awesome deeds in righteousness you answer us, O God of our salvation, confidence of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas. 7who establishes the mountains by his strength, being girded with might; 8who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of peoples; 9So those who dwell at the ends of the earth fear because of your signs; the dawn and the dusk you make shout for joy. 10You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it. The channel of God is full of water; you prepare their grain, for so you prepare the earth. 11You drench its furrows; you settle its ridges; with showers you soften it; you bless its growth. 12You crown the year with your goodness, and your tracks drip with abundance. 13The pastures of the wilderness drip, and the hills gird themselves with joy.
