Psalms 65:1-13 — Praise for God's Provision

Ps.65.1-13

¹For the choirmaster. A psalm of David. A song. ²To you silence is praise , O God, in Zion; and to you a vow will be paid. ³O hearer of prayer, to you all flesh will come. ⁴Words of iniquities were too strong for me; our transgressions—you yourself will atone for them. ⁵Blessed is the one you choose and bring near to dwell in your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple. ⁶By awesome deeds in righteousness you answer us, O God of our salvation, confidence of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas. ⁷who establishes the mountains by his strength, being girded with might; ⁸who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of peoples; ⁹So those who dwell at the ends of the earth fear because of your signs; the dawn and the dusk you make shout for joy. ¹⁰You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it. The channel of God is full of water; you prepare their grain, for so you prepare the earth. ¹¹You drench its furrows; you settle its ridges; with showers you soften it; you bless its growth. ¹²You crown the year with your goodness, and your tracks drip with abundance. ¹³The pastures of the wilderness drip, and the hills gird themselves with joy.
