Psalms 56:1-13Trust in God

Ps.56.1-13
1For the choirmaster. To the tune of “The Dove of Distant Elem .” A Miktam of David, when the Philistines seized him in Gath. 2Be gracious to me, O God, for man hounds me eagerly; all day long an attacker oppresses me. 3My enemies hound me eagerly all day long, for many are those who fight against me proudly. 4When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. 5In God, I praise His word; in God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? 6All day long they twist my words; all their thoughts are against me for evil. 7They conspire, they lie hidden, they watch my steps, as they wait for my life. 8Shall they escape by their iniquity? In anger bring down the peoples, O God. 9You Yourself have recorded my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle . Are they not in Your book? 10Then my enemies will turn back on the day that I call; this I know, that God is for me. 11In God, I praise His word; in the LORD , I praise His word, 12in God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? 13Your vows are upon me, O God; I will pay thanksgivings to You.
