Psalms 13:1-6 — A Prayer of Trust
Ps.13.1-6
1For the choir director. A psalm of David. 2How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? 3How long shall I take counsel within myself, with sorrow in my heart all day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? 4Look, answer me, O LORD my God; give light to my eyes , lest I sleep in death, 5lest my enemy say, “I have overcome him,” lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken. 6But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, for he has dealt bountifully with me .
