Luke.4.31-44
31Then he went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbath. 32And they were astonished at his teaching, because his word carried authority. 33And in the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice, 34“Ha! What have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!” 35But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent and come out of him!” And after throwing him down in their midst, the demon came out of him without harming him at all. 36And amazement came over them all, and they said to one another, “What is this word, that with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out?” 37And news about him kept spreading into every place of the surrounding region. 38Then after rising from the synagogue, he entered Simon's house. Now Simon's mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked him about her. 39And standing over her, he rebuked the fever, and it left her. Immediately she rose and began serving them. 40When the sun was setting, all who had people sick with various diseases brought them to him; and laying his hands on each one of them, he was healing them. 41Demons also were coming out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Son of God !” But rebuking them, he would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ. 42When day came, he went out to a desolate place; and the crowds were seeking him, and they came to him and tried to keep him from going away from them. 43But he said to them, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this I was sent.” 44And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea .
