Luke 2:41-52The Boy Jesus at the Temple

Luke.2.41-52
41Now every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the Festival of the Passover. 42And when he was twelve years old, as they were going up according to the custom of the festival, 43and when the days were completed, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. But his parents did not realize it. 44Assuming that he was in the traveling company, they went a day's journey, and then they began looking for him among their relatives and acquaintances . 45When they did not find him , they returned to Jerusalem, searching for him. 46And it happened that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47And all who were listening to him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. 48When his parents saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, “Child, why have you treated us like this? Look, your father and I have been searching for you in great distress.” 49And he said to them, “Why is it that you were searching for me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house ?” 50But they did not understand the statement that he spoke to them. 51And he went down with them and came to Nazareth, and he continued to be subject to them. And his mother treasured all the things in her heart. 52And Jesus continued to advance in wisdom and stature , and in favor with God and people.
