Luke 22:63-71The Guards Mock Jesus; Jesus Before the Sanhedrin

Luke.22.63-71
63Now the men who were holding him in custody were mocking him and beating him. 64And having blindfolded him, they kept asking him, “Prophesy! Who is it that struck you?” 65And they were saying many other things against him, reviling him. 66And when day came, the council of elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes, and they led him away into their council. 67They said, “If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them, "If I tell you, you will not believe; 68but if I ask, you will not answer. 69But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God." 70And they all said, “Are you then the Son of God?” And he said to them, “You say that I am .” 71Then they said, “What further need do we have of testimony ? For we ourselves have heard it from his own mouth.”
