Luke 10:38-42 — At the Home of Martha and Mary
Luke.10.38-42
38As they were traveling along, he entered a certain village, and a woman named Martha welcomed him into the house . 39She had a sister called Mary, who sat down at the Lord's feet and was listening to his word. 40But Martha was distracted with much service, and she came up and said, 'Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her, then, to help me.' 41But the Lord answered her, 'Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, 42but few things are needed, or only one . For Mary has chosen the good portion, and it will not be taken away from her.'
