Luke 13:10-17Jesus Heals a Crippled Woman on the Sabbath

Luke.13.10-17
10Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on a Sabbath . 11And behold, there was a woman who had had a spirit of weakness for eighteen years. She was bent over and unable to straighten up completely. 12When Jesus saw her, he called to her and said, 'Woman, you are released from your weakness.' 13Then he laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood straight again and glorified God. 14But the synagogue leader , indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, 'There are six days on which work ought to be done; so come on those days and be healed, and not on the day of the Sabbath.' 15But the Lord answered him and said, 'Hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the feeding trough and lead it away to give it water?' 16And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be released from this bond on the day of the Sabbath? 17As he was saying these things, all those opposed to him were put to shame, and the whole crowd was rejoicing over all the glorious things he was doing.
