Matthew 24:1-14Olivet Discourse: Signs of the End

Matt.24.1-14
1As Jesus went out from the temple and was going on his way, his disciples came to him to point out to him the temple buildings. 2He answered them, 'Do you see all these things? Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left upon another that will not be torn down.' 3As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately and said, 'Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age ?' 4Jesus answered them, 'See that no one leads you astray.' 5For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray. 6You will hear of wars and reports of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must happen , but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8But all these things are the beginning of birth pains. 9Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all the nations because of my name. 10And then many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. 11And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12And because lawlessness is multiplied, the love of many will grow cold. 13But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
