Matthew 9:27-34 — Jesus Heals the Blind and Mute
Matt.9.27-34
27As Jesus was passing on from there, two blind men followed him, crying out and saying, “Have mercy on us, Son of David !” 28When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” 29Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be done to you.” 30And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See to it, let no one know.” 31But after going out, they spread the news about him in all that land. 32As they were going out, behold, they brought to him a mute man who was demon-possessed. 33And when the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke. And the crowds marveled, saying, “Never has it been seen like this in Israel!” 34But the Pharisees were saying, “By the ruler of demons he casts out demons.”
