Matt.8.5-13

⁵When he entered Capernaum, a centurion approached him, pleading with him ⁶and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, suffering terribly.” ⁷He said to him, “I will come and heal him.” ⁸The centurion answered, "Lord, I am not worthy for you to come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. ⁹For I too am a man under authority , having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes, and to another, 'Come,' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this,' and he does it." ¹⁰When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those following him, "Truly I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such great faith. ¹¹I tell you that many will come from east and west and will recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; ¹²but the sons of the kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." ¹³And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; let it be done for you just as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very hour.
