²⁹And moving on from there, Jesus went along the Sea of Galilee; then, having gone up on the mountain, he sat down there. ³⁰And large crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, crippled, blind, mute , and many others, and they laid them at his feet , and he healed them. ³¹As a result, the crowd marveled as they saw the mute speaking, the crippled healthy , and the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel. ³²Then Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the crowd, because they have already remained with me three days and do not have anything to eat. And I do not want to send them away fasting, lest they faint on the way.” ³³And the disciples said to him, “Where could we get enough loaves in a desolate place to satisfy such a large crowd?” ³⁴And Jesus asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few small fish.” ³⁵And having commanded the crowd to sit down on the ground, ³⁶he took the seven loaves and the fish, and having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples to the crowds. ³⁷And they all ate and were satisfied, and what was left over of the broken pieces they took up, seven full baskets. ³⁸Now those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children. ³⁹And having dismissed the crowds, he got into the boat and came to the region of Magadan .
