Acts 8:2-8 — The Church Persecuted and Scattered
Acts.8.2-8
2Now devout men buried Stephen and made great lamentation over him. 3But Saul began to ravage the church; entering house after house, and dragging off men and women, he committed them to prison. 4Therefore, those who were scattered went about preaching the word. 5Now Philip, having gone down to the city of Samaria, proclaimed the Christ to them. 6And the crowds with one accord paid close attention to what was said by Philip, when they heard and saw the signs that he was doing. 7For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who had them; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8So there was great joy in that city.
