Acts 14:1-7 — In Iconium
Acts.14.1-7
1In Iconium they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews and spoke in such a way that a great multitude of both Jews and Greeks believed. 2But the Jews who refused to believe stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers. 3So they remained there a considerable time, speaking boldly in the Lord , who bore witness to the word of his grace by granting signs and wonders to be done through their hands. 4But the multitude of the city was divided: some were with the Jews, and others with the apostles. 5When there was a hostile move by both Gentiles and Jews, together with their rulers, to mistreat them and stone them, 6they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and to the surrounding region. 7And there they kept proclaiming the good news.
