Mark 5:21-43Jesus Raises a Dead Girl and Heals a Sick Woman

Mark.5.21-43
21And when Jesus had crossed over again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd was gathered to him, and he was by the sea. 22And one of the synagogue leaders came, named Jairus, and seeing him, he fell at his feet, 23and pleaded with him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Please come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be healed and live.” 24And he went with him. And a large crowd was following him and pressing against him. 25And a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26and who had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was not helped at all, but rather grew worse, 27having heard about Jesus, came up in the crowd behind him and touched his garment. 28For she was saying, “If I touch even his garments, I will be healed.” 29And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she knew in her body that she was healed from the affliction. 30And immediately Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched my garments?” 31And his disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing against you, and you say, 'Who touched me?'” 32But he was looking around to see the woman who had done this. 33Then the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before him and told him the whole truth. 34And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you; go in peace, and be healed from your affliction.” 35While he was still speaking, they came from the synagogue leader's house, saying, “Your daughter has died; why trouble the Teacher any further?” 36But Jesus, ignoring the word that was spoken, said to the synagogue leader, “Do not fear, only believe.” 37And he allowed no one to follow with him except Peter and James and John the brother of James. 38And they came to the house of the synagogue leader, and he saw a commotion, and people weeping and wailing loudly. 39And having entered, he said to them, “Why are you making a commotion and weeping? The child has not died, but is sleeping.” 40And they were laughing at him. But he, having put them all outside, took the father of the child and the mother and those who were with him, and went in where the child was. 41And taking hold of the child's hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, get up.” 42And immediately the little girl stood up and began walking around, for she was twelve years old. And immediately they were amazed with a great amazement. 43And he strictly ordered them that no one should know this, and he told them to give her something to eat.
