Mark 4:35-41 — Jesus Calms the Storm
Mark.4.35-41
35And on that day, when evening came, He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36And leaving the crowd behind, they took Him along, just as He was, in the boat. And there were other boats with Him. 37And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were beating into the boat, so that the boat was already filling up. 38And He Himself was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion. And they woke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” 39And He awoke and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Silence! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41And they were extremely afraid , and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”
