Mark.1.35-45

³⁵Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he got up, went out, and departed to a deserted place; and there he prayed. ³⁶Simon, along with those who were with him, tracked him down. ³⁷They found him and said to him, “Everyone is looking for you.” ³⁸And he said to them, “Let us go elsewhere, into the neighboring small towns, so that I may preach there also, for this is why I came out.” ³⁹And he went throughout all Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out the demons. ⁴⁰And a leper came to him, begging him and kneeling, saying to him, “If you are willing, you can cleanse me.” ⁴¹And moved with compassion , he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” ⁴²And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed. ⁴³And after sternly warning him, he immediately sent him away. ⁴⁴And he said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but rather go, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” ⁴⁵But after going out, he began to proclaim it widely and to spread the report, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter a town, but stayed outside in deserted places; and people were coming to him from every direction.
