Mark 1:35-45Jesus Prays and Preaches; A Man with Leprosy

Mark.1.35-45
35Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he got up, went out, and departed to a deserted place; and there he prayed. 36Simon, along with those who were with him, tracked him down. 37They found him and said to him, “Everyone is looking for you.” 38And he said to them, “Let us go elsewhere, into the neighboring small towns, so that I may preach there also, for this is why I came out.” 39And he went throughout all Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out the demons. 40And a leper came to him, begging him and kneeling, saying to him, “If you are willing, you can cleanse me.” 41And moved with compassion , he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” 42And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed. 43And after sternly warning him, he immediately sent him away. 44And he said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone, but rather go, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” 45But after going out, he began to proclaim it widely and to spread the report, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter a town, but stayed outside in deserted places; and people were coming to him from every direction.
