Leviticus 26:1-13 — Blessings for Obedience
Lev.26.1-13
1You shall not make idols for yourselves, and you shall not set up for yourselves a carved image or a pillar, and you shall not place a carved stone in your land to bow down to it; for I am the LORD your God. 2You shall keep my Sabbaths and revere my sanctuary. I am the LORD. 3If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments and do them, 4then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land will yield its produce, and the trees of the field will bear their fruit. 5Your threshing will last until the grape harvest, and the grape harvest will last until sowing time; and you will eat your bread to the full and dwell securely in your land. 6And I will give peace in the land, and you will lie down with no one to make you afraid; and I will remove harmful beasts from the land, and no sword shall pass through your land. 7You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall before you by the sword . 8Five of you will pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you will pursue ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword. 9I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will establish my covenant with you. 10You will eat old provisions long stored, and you will clear out the old because of the new. 11And I will set my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you. 12I will walk among you and will be your God, and you will be my people. 13I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would not be their slaves. I broke the bars of your yoke and made you walk upright .
