Deuteronomy 16:1-17Passover, Weeks, and Tabernacles

Deut.16.1-17
1Observe the month of Abib and keep the Passover to the LORD your God, for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you out of Egypt by night. 2You shall sacrifice the Passover to the LORD your God, from the flock and the herd, in the place that the LORD will choose to make his name dwell there. 3You shall not eat leavened bread with it; for seven days you shall eat Unleavened Bread with it, the bread of affliction, because you came out of the land of Egypt in haste, so that you may remember the day you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. 4No leaven shall be seen with you in all your territory for seven days, and none of the meat that you sacrifice on the evening of the first day shall remain overnight until morning. 5You are not permitted to sacrifice the Passover within any of your towns that the LORD your God is giving you, 6but only at the place that the LORD your God will choose to make his name dwell. There you shall sacrifice the Passover in the evening at sunset, at the time of your departure from Egypt. 7You shall roast and eat it in the place that the LORD your God will choose, and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents. 8For six days you shall eat Unleavened Bread, and on the seventh day there shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God; you shall do no work. 9You shall count seven weeks for yourself; from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain , you shall begin to count seven weeks. 10Then you shall keep the Feast of Weeks to the LORD your God with a tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give according to how the LORD your God blesses you. 11And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God—you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite who is within your towns, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow who are among you—in the place that the LORD your God will choose to make his name dwell there. 12You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and you shall carefully observe these statutes. 13You shall keep the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days, when you have gathered in the produce from your threshing floor and your winepress. 14You shall rejoice in your feast—you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your towns. 15For seven days you shall keep a feast to the LORD your God in the place that the LORD will choose, because the LORD your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the work of your hands, so that you will be completely joyful. 16Three times a year all your males shall appear before the LORD your God in the place that he will choose: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles. They shall not appear before the LORD empty-handed. 17Each person shall bring a gift as they are able , according to the blessing of the LORD your God that he has given you.
