Numbers 9:1-14The Second Passover

Num.9.1-14
1Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, 2Let the Israelites keep the Passover at its appointed time. 3On the fourteenth day of this month, at twilight , you shall keep it at its appointed time; according to all its statutes and according to all its ordinances you shall keep it. 4So Moses told the Israelites to keep the Passover. 5And they kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, in the wilderness of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh had commanded Moses, so the Israelites did. 6But there were men who were unclean because of a human corpse, so they could not keep the Passover on that day; and they came before Moses and Aaron on that day. 7Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of a human corpse. Why should we be kept back from presenting Yahweh's offering at its appointed time among the Israelites?” 8Moses said to them, “Wait , and I will hear what Yahweh commands concerning you.” 9Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 10"Speak to the Israelites, saying, 'If any man among you or among your descendants is unclean because of a corpse, or is on a distant journey, he shall still keep the Passover to Yahweh. 11In the second month, on the fourteenth day at twilight, they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. 12They shall leave none of it until morning, and they shall not break a bone of it; according to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it. 13But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and yet neglects to keep the Passover, that person shall be cut off from his people, because he did not present Yahweh's offering at its appointed time. That man shall bear his sin. 14And if a sojourner is residing among you and keeps the Passover to Yahweh, according to the statute of the Passover and according to its ordinance, so shall he do. One statute shall be for you, for the sojourner, and for the native-born of the land.'
