Numbers 17:1-13Aaron's Staff Buds

Num.17.1-13
1And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2Speak to Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, and have him remove the censers from the midst of the burning, but scatter the fire far away, for the censers have become holy. 3As for the censers of these men who sinned at the cost of their lives , let them be made into hammered plates as a covering for the altar. For they presented them before the LORD, and they became holy; so they shall be a sign to the Israelites. 4So Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers that the men who were burned had presented, and they hammered them out as a covering for the altar, 5It will be a memorial for the Israelites, so that no unauthorized person , one who is not from the offspring of Aaron, may come near to burn incense before the LORD, and so that he may not become like Korah and his company, just as the LORD had spoken through Moses to him. 6But on the next day all the congregation of the Israelites grumbled against Moses and against Aaron, saying, “You have killed the LORD’s people.” 7When the congregation assembled against Moses and against Aaron, they turned toward the Tent of Meeting, and behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared. 8Then Moses and Aaron came before the Tent of Meeting. 9And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 10Get away from among this congregation, and I will consume them in a moment. And they fell on their faces. 11Then Moses said to Aaron, “Take the censer and put fire on it from the altar, and lay incense on it. Then carry it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone out from before the LORD; the plague has begun.” 12So Aaron took it, just as Moses had spoken, and ran into the midst of the assembly. And behold, the plague had already begun among the people. Then he put on the incense and made atonement for the people. 13And he stood between the dead and the living, and the plague was stopped.
