Jeremiah 15:1-21God's Answer and Jeremiah's Lament

Jer.15.1-21
1Then Yahweh said to me, "Even if Moses and Samuel were to stand before me , my heart would not be toward this people. Send them away from my presence, and let them go out! 2And it will happen, when they ask you, 'Where shall we go?' that you shall tell them, 'Thus says Yahweh: “Those destined for death, to death; and those destined for the sword, to the sword; and those destined for famine, to famine; and those destined for captivity, to captivity.”' 3“I will appoint over them four kinds of destroyers,” declares Yahweh: "the sword to kill, the dogs to drag away, the birds of the sky, and the beasts of the earth to devour and to destroy. 4I will make them an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, for what he did in Jerusalem. 5For who will have pity on you, Jerusalem? And who will mourn for you? And who will turn aside to ask about your welfare? 6“You have forsaken me,” declares Yahweh. "You keep going backward. So I have stretched out my hand against you and destroyed you; I am weary of showing compassion. 7I have winnowed them with a winnowing fork at the gates of the land; I have bereaved them of children, I have destroyed my people; they did not turn back from their ways. 8Their widows have become more numerous before me than the sand of the seas. I have brought against them, against the mothers of young men, a destroyer at noonday; I have suddenly caused anguish and terrors to fall upon her. 9She who bore seven languishes; she breathes her last. Her sun has gone down while it is still day; she is ashamed and disgraced. And the rest of them I will give to the sword before their enemies," declares Yahweh. 10Woe to me, my mother, that you have borne me, a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have not lent to them, nor have they lent to me, yet every one of them curses me. 11Yahweh said, "Surely I will strengthen you for a good purpose; surely I will cause the enemy to plead with you in the time of disaster and in the time of distress. 12Can anyone break iron—iron from the north—and bronze? 13Your wealth and your treasures I will give up as plunder, without payment, because of all your sins, throughout all your borders. 14And I will make your enemies pass into a land that you do not know, for a fire is kindled in my anger, which will burn against you." 15You know, Yahweh; remember me, visit me, and take vengeance for me against my persecutors. In your patience, do not take me away; know that for your sake I endure reproach. 16Your words were found, and I ate them; and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, Yahweh, God of Hosts. 17I did not sit in the assembly of merrymakers, nor did I rejoice; because of your hand upon me I sat alone, for you have filled me with indignation. 18Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Will you indeed be to me like a deceptive brook, like waters that are not reliable? 19Therefore thus says Yahweh: "If you return, then I will restore you, and you shall stand before me. And if you extract the precious from the worthless, you shall be as my mouth. They will turn to you, but you must not turn to them. 20And I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall; they will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you, for I am with you to save you and to deliver you," declares Yahweh. 21“I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you from the grasp of the ruthless.”
