Revelation 21:1-8 — A New Heaven and a New Earth
Rev.21.1-8
1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea is no more. 2And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling of God is with humanity, and he will dwell with them , and they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them, 4and he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore. The first things have passed away." 5And the one seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And he says , “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” 6And he said to me, "They are fulfilled. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give freely from the spring of the water of life. 7The one who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their portion is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."
