Revelation 2:1-7 — To the Church in Ephesus
Rev.2.1-7
1“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of the one holding the seven stars in his right hand, the one walking among the seven golden lampstands: 2I know your works, and toil , and your perseverance, and that you cannot tolerate evil people, and you have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and you found them false. 3And you have perseverance, and you have endured for the sake of my name, and you have not grown weary. 4But I have this against you, that you have abandoned your first love. 5Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the first works. But if not, I am coming to you and I will remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. 6But you have this: that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will grant him to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God .”
