Revelation 2:18-29 — To the Church in Thyatira

Rev.2.18-29

¹⁸And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These things says the Son of God, whose eyes are like a flame of fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze: ¹⁹I know your works—your love and faith and service and endurance—and that your latter works exceed the first. ²⁰But I have this against you: you tolerate the woman Jezebel , who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads my servants astray to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. ²¹I gave her time to repent, but she is unwilling to repent of her sexual immorality. ²²Behold, I am throwing her onto a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works. ²³And I will strike her children dead, and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works. ²⁴But to you I say—to the rest in Thyatira, all who do not hold this teaching, who have not known the so-called deep things of Satan—I place no other burden on you. ²⁵Nevertheless, hold fast what you have until I come. ²⁶And to the one who overcomes and keeps my works to the end, I will give authority over the nations, ²⁷and he will shepherd them with an iron rod, as clay vessels are shattered, ²⁸just as I also have received from my Father; and I will give him the morning star. ²⁹He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
