2 Corinthians 6:1-13Paul's Hardships

2Cor.6.1-13
1Working together , we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2For he says: “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 3We give no obstacle in anything, so that the ministry may not be blamed, 4but in everything commending ourselves as servants of God: in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in restrictions, 5in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in sleepless nights, in fastings; 6in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love, 7in the message of truth, in the power of God; through the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left; 8through glory and dishonor, through bad report and good report; as deceivers and yet true; 9as unknown and yet well-known; as dying, and behold, we live; as disciplined and yet not killed; 10as sorrowful yet always rejoicing; as poor yet making many rich; as having nothing and yet possessing everything. 11Our mouth has been opened to speak freely to you, Corinthians; our heart has been opened wide. 12You are not restricted in us, but you are restricted in your own affections. 13Now as the same return—I speak as to children—you also open wide.
