Zechariah 6:1-8 — Four Chariots
Zech.6.1-8
1Again I looked up and saw: behold, four chariots were going out from between two bronze mountains. 2In the first chariot were red horses; in the second chariot, black horses; 3in the third chariot, white horses; and in the fourth chariot, dappled horses, strong ones. 4Then I answered and said to the angel who was speaking with me, “What are these, my lord?” 5The angel answered me, "These are the four winds of heaven , going out from standing before the Lord of all the earth. 6The one with the black horses is going out to the land of the north, and the white ones have gone out after them , and the dappled ones have gone out to the land of the south. 7Then the strong ones went out and sought to go and walk about in the earth. And he said, “Go, walk about in the earth.” So they walked about in the earth. 8Then he called out to me and spoke to me, saying, “Look, those going out to the land of the north have set my spirit at rest in the land of the north.”
