Zechariah 14:1-21The Lord Comes and Reigns

Zech.14.1-21
1Behold, a day is coming for the LORD, when your plunder will be divided in your midst. 2For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem for battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, and the women ravished. Half of the city will go out into exile, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. 3Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as when he fights on a day of battle. 4On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives will be split in half, from east to west, forming a very great valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5And you will flee by the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel. You will flee just as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with you . 6On that day there will be no light, cold, or frost . 7And it will be one day known to the LORD, neither day nor night; but at evening time there will be light. 8On that day living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea ; it will happen in summer and in winter. 9And the LORD will be king over all the earth. On that day the LORD will be one, and his name one. 10All the land will be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. But Jerusalem will be raised up and will dwell in her place, from the Benjamin Gate to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king's winepresses. 11People will dwell in it, and there will no longer be a curse. Jerusalem will dwell in security. 12And this will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have waged war against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they are standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13On that day a great panic from the LORD will fall upon them; everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, and the hand of the one will be raised against the hand of his neighbor. 14Judah also will fight at Jerusalem, and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered: gold, silver, and clothing in great abundance. 15And a plague like this plague will also strike the horses, the mules, the camels, the donkeys, and all the livestock that are in those camps. 16Then everyone who is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 17And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, there will be no rain upon them. 18And if the family of Egypt does not go up and does not come in, then the rain will not fall upon them; there will be the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 19This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 20On that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, “HOLY TO THE LORD.” And the pots in the house of the LORD will be like the sprinkling bowls before the altar. 21And every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the LORD of Hosts, and all who sacrifice will come and take of them and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of Hosts.
