1 Timothy 2:1-15Instructions on Worship

1Tim.2.1-15
1I urge, therefore, first of all , that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 3This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God, and one also is the mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper times; 7for which I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth , I am not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. 8Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and dispute. 9Likewise also, I want women to adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or expensive clothing, 10but with what is proper for women professing godliness: through good works. 11Let a woman learn in quietness with all submissiveness. 12But I do not permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness. 13For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman, having been thoroughly deceived, has fallen into transgression. 15But she will be saved through childbearing, if they continue in faith and love and holiness, with self-control.
