Song of Solomon 7:1-9The Bride's Beauty

Song.7.1-9
1Return, return, O Shulammite; return, return, that we may look upon you! Why should you look upon the Shulammite, as upon the dance of Mahanaim ? 2How beautiful are your feet in sandals, O noble daughter! The curves of your thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a master craftsman. 3Your navel is a round goblet; let it not lack blended wine. Your belly is a heap of wheat, encircled by lilies. 4Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle. 5Your neck is like an ivory tower. Your eyes are like the pools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bath-rabbim. Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon, looking toward Damascus. 6Your head crowns you like Mount Carmel , and the flowing hair of your head is like purple; a king is held captive in its tresses. 7How beautiful and how pleasant you are, O love, with your delights! 8This stature of yours is like a palm tree, and your breasts are like clusters. 9I said, “I will climb the palm tree; I will take hold of its fruit.” May your breasts be like clusters of the vine, and the fragrance of your breath like apples.
