Song of Solomon 6:4-13The Bridegroom Praises the Bride

Song.6.4-13
4You are beautiful, my darling, like Tirzah, lovely like Jerusalem, awesome as troops with banners. 5Turn your eyes away from me, for they overwhelm me. Your hair is like a flock of goats streaming down from Gilead. 6Your teeth are like a flock of ewes that have come up from the washing, all of which bear twins, and not one among them has lost her young. 7Your temples behind your veil are like a slice of pomegranate. 8There are sixty queens and eighty concubines, and young women without number. 9But my dove, my perfect one, is unique ; she is her mother's only one, the choice one of her who bore her. The young women saw her and called her blessed; the queens and concubines praised her. 10“Who is this who looks out like the dawn, beautiful as the moon, bright as the sun, awesome as troops with banners?” 11I went down to the walnut grove to look at the fresh growth of the valley, to see if the vine had budded, if the pomegranates were in bloom. 12Before I knew it, my desire set me among the chariots of my noble people . 13Return, return, O Shulammite ! Return, return, that we may gaze at you! Why do you gaze at the Shulammite, as at the dance of Mahanaim?
