Hosea 3:1-5 — Hosea's Reconciliation with His Wife
Hos.3.1-5
1And the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, just as the LORD loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.” 2So I bought her for myself for fifteen pieces of silver and a homer and a lethech of barley. 3And I said to her, “You shall stay with me many days. You shall not play the prostitute, and you shall not belong to a man; and I also will be so toward you.” 4For the children of Israel shall stay many days without king and without prince, and without sacrifice and without sacred pillar , and without ephod and teraphim . 5Afterward the children of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king , and they will come trembling to the LORD and to his goodness in the latter days.
