Romans 3:1-8 — God's Faithfulness
Rom.3.1-8
1What then is the advantage of the Jew, or what is the benefit of circumcision ? 2Much in every way. For first of all, they were entrusted with the words of God . 3For what if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify the faithfulness of God? 4By no means! Rather, let God be true, though every human being is a liar, as it is written: “So that you may be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged .” 5But if our unrighteousness shows the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust, the one who brings wrath? I am speaking in human terms. 6By no means! For then how will God judge the world? 7But if the truth of God through my falsehood has abounded to his glory, why am I still judged as a sinner? 8And why not say, as we are slandered and as some claim that we say, “Let us do evil so that good may come”? Their condemnation is deserved.
