Philippians 3:12-21Pressing Toward the Goal

Phil.3.12-21
12Not that I have already obtained this or have already been perfected, but I press on to take hold of that for which I was also taken hold of by Christ Jesus. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it yet. But one thing I do: forgetting the things that are behind and straining toward the things that are ahead, 14I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15Therefore, let all of us who are mature think this way; and if you think differently about anything, God will reveal this also to you. 16Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same standard. 17Brothers, become co-imitators of me, and keep your eyes on those who walk in this way, just as you have us for a pattern. 18For many walk—of whom I have often told you, and now even weeping I say—as the enemies of the cross of Christ, 19whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things. 20For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21who will transform the body of our lowliness to be conformed to His own glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subject all things to Himself .
