5Have this mindset among yourselves, which was also in Christ Jesus, 6who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7but emptied himself by taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men; and being found in appearance as a man, 8he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death—even death on a cross . 9For this reason God also highly exalted him, and gave him the name that is above every name, 10so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, resulting in the glory of God the Father.
