Colossians 3:18-4:1 — Rules for Christian Households
Col.3.18-4.1
18Wives, submit to your husbands , as is fitting in the Lord. 19Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh toward them. 20Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing in the Lord. 21Fathers, do not provoke your children, so that they may not lose heart. 22Slaves, obey in everything your masters according to the flesh, not only while being watched, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord . 23Whatever you do , work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people, 24knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. You are serving the Lord Christ . 25For the one who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done wrong, and there is no partiality.

1Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven. Translation Notes
