2 Timothy 1:8-18Not Ashamed of the Gospel

2Tim.1.8-18
8So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but suffer together for the gospel according to the power of God, 9who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before eternal ages, 10but now has been revealed through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought to light life and incorruptibility through the gospel, 11for which I was appointed a herald, an apostle, and a teacher . 12For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard my deposit until that day. 13Hold to the pattern of sound words that you heard from me, with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 14Guard the good deposit entrusted to you through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. 15You know this: all who are in Asia turned away from me, among them Phygelus and Hermogenes. 16May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain; 17rather, when he arrived in Rome, he searched for me diligently and found me. 18May the Lord grant him to find mercy from the Lord on that day. And you know very well how much he served in Ephesus.
