2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 — Stand Firm
2Thess.2.13-17
13But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. 14For this he also called you through our gospel, for obtaining the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, whether by word or by our letter. 16Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal encouragement and good hope by grace, 17encourage your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and word.
