Isaiah 12

Verse 1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. In that day — When this great work of the reduction of Israel, and conversion of the Gentiles is fulfilled.

Verse 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. God — My salvation hath not been brought to pass by man, but by the almighty power of God.

Verse 3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. With joy — Your thirsty souls shall be filled with Divine graces and comforts, which you may draw from God, in the use of gospel-ordinances.
